The UNI-T UT372 is a non-contact digital tachometer from the UT370 Series, ideal for measuring rotational speed (RPM) and count without physically contacting the equipment. It uses a laser and reflective tape to accurately detect rotation from 10 to 99,999 RPM with a high accuracy of ±(0.03–0.04% + 2), and supports count readings up to 99,999.
It operates at a max input frequency of 10kHz with a 5% bandwidth, and the optimal target distance for measurement is 50mm to 200mm. With features such as MAX/MIN/AVG modes, data hold, and auto power off after 15 minutes, it enhances usability and energy efficiency.
The UT372 also offers a USB interface for PC connectivity via included software, enabling data storage and analysis. Lightweight at 100g and powered by 4 x 1.5V LR6 batteries, it’s a reliable tool for motor testing, machinery maintenance, and industrial automation diagnostics.
